INO - Automated Plastic Classification Systems
INO has developed two working prototypes for the automatic sorting of recovered plastics. One prototype uses infrared (IR) transmission spectrometry in order to classify transparent objects. The other is based on a computer vision system and is able to classify opaque objects.
