Barex.
Barex is a durable acrylonitrile resin which is very strong and provides vapor barrier qualities as well as chemical resistance to almost everything including petroleum products. We have approx two loads per month ongoing supply of Barex sheet, rolls, and regrind. This is a clean, consistent quality, and continuous supply of post-industrial scrap from the manufacturer. This material is FDA approved and can be used to punch out shapes, make divider sheets, and it can be thermoformed into trays or shells for packaging. The regrind can be compounded to your specifications or combined with polystyrene to make SAN. Barex can be substituted for HIPS or ABS tray or PVC in packaging applications. The boxes and rolls are heavy, and loads are over 40,000 lbs.
